Andrea Corr

Andrea Jane Corr MBE is an Irish singer songwriter musician and actress. Corr began her career in 1990 with The Corrs, a Celtic pop and rock band The Corrs, alongside Caroline Sharon Jim. Andrea Corr, an Irish musician, songwriter and actor is part of The Corrs. She has been awarded the distinction of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) and is more well-known as a member of the Celtic folk and pop-rock group The Corrs. The lead singer and multi-instrumentalist of The Corrs, she also serves as the group's leader. Andrea was first introduced to acting in 1991. Later, she became an experienced singer and stage performer. She performed as the voice in The Quest for Camelot, a Warner Bros. cartoon film that was released in 1998. Andrea is truly a multi-faceted artist. She has a total of six studio albums, two compilation albums and two live albums along with one remix. Her charitable efforts have also been acknowledged. Andrea along with her husband, a stockbroker, have two kids. Andrea began her music education by playing the Tin flute. Gerry introduced Andrea to the piano. Andrea is also a ukulele player. Her teenage years were spent improving her musicianship abilities. She spent her teenage years honing her musical skills. Andrea attended "Dun Lughaidh Convent as a child and frequently participated in school plays.
